Safe Home ProgramRiver Hill High School PTSA Launches
SAFE HOME CAMPAIGN - Audio Message
PTSA knows it is not always easy to talk to other parents or our kids about making good choices when it comes to drugs and alcohol. Research shows that parents, who set clear rules, monitor their teen’s activities, and who provide a safe environment will greatly lower the risk that their children will be involved in using alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Make YOUR House a SAFE HOME! AGREE TO THE PLEDGE through the PTSA Participation Online Form when you enter your School Directoryinfo. Those who pledge before September 2nd can pick up their window cling at BTS Night from the PTSA table. If you have any questions about Safe Home, please contact Suzanne Gordon, parent School Improvement Team Member, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. I Pledge to Provide a Safe Home … 1. I will not serve alcohol or other drugs to minors, nor will I allow minors to consume alcohol or other drugs in my home or on my property. 2. I will monitor alcohol and over-the-counter/prescription drugs that are in my home and provide a secure storage place for all forms of firearms. 3. I will be a visible chaperone if my teen gives a party and will not allow unsupervised parties in my home. 4. I wish to be contacted by any parent who personally observes my child using or under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. 5. I will communicate with any “Safe Home” parent of a child whom I personally observe using or under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Please click here to sign the online pledge.
